Applications Engineer

Securitas Technology is seeking an Applications Engineer to design, configure, and support advanced electronic security and life safety solutions for commercial and enterprise clients. In this role, you will translate customer requirements into robust system designs spanning video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and monitoring platforms. You will collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and project teams to deliver integrated, reliable, and scalable solutions. Responsibilities include system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and technical support during deployment and commissioning. You will help evaluate emerging technologies, contribute to best practices, and provide technical guidance to internal teams and customers. Responsibilities

• Design and configure electronic security and life safety applications (video, access control, intrusion).
• Translate client requirements into technical specifications and system configurations.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project teams to develop integrated security solutions.
• Test, troubleshoot, and optimize applications to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance.
• Provide technical support during deployment, commissioning, and post implementation phases.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, and configuration standards.
• Assist in evaluating new technologies and integrating them into solution offerings.
• Train internal teams and customers on application functionality and best practices.
