Job Description Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Own the technical architecture and long-term roadmap for our NetSuite ERP environment, ensuring solutions scale with the business rather than creating future rework
  • Lead solution design sessions with business and technical stakeholders, translating complex operational needs into clear, well-architected NetSuite solutions
  • Architect and oversee integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems using SuiteTalk, REST, and SOAP APIs
  • Guide and review development work across SuiteScript 1.0/2.x, SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF), RESTlets, Suitelets, Map/Reduce scripts, and scheduled scripts
  • Make and document architectural decisions on custom records, fields, forms, roles, permissions, and system security to keep the environment clean, auditable, and maintainable long-term
  • Partner with functional leaders across Financials, Order Management, Inventory, and related modules to identify opportunities for ERP optimization and process improvement
  • Lead data migration strategy, including CSV imports, validation frameworks, and cutover planning for major initiatives
  • Set and enforce development standards, documentation practices, and governance for customizations and integrations across the platform
  • Troubleshoot complex, cross-system issues and lead root-cause resolution - not just symptom fixes
  • Serve as the go-to technical mentor for NetSuite developers and administrators - this role has no direct reports, but you'll be the person the team leans on for guidance on tough architecture calls
  • Evaluate and recommend middleware and third-party tools where they make sense for the broader integration strategy

WHAT YOU'LL NEED (MUST-HAVES)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 7-12 years of ERP implementation, solution architecture, or enterprise systems consulting experience
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in SuiteScript 2.x and SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF)
  • Proven experience architecting and delivering integrations between NetSuite and external systems via REST and SOAP APIs
  • Strong command of NetSuite ERP modules, particularly Financials, Order Management, and Inventory
  • A track record of leading solution design conversations with both technical teams and business stakeholders - you can flex between whiteboard architecture talk and a straightforward conversation with a VP
  • Solid foundation in JavaScript and related web technologies
  • Experience owning data migration strategy - CSV imports, validation, and cutover planning
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the judgment to know when a fix is a patch versus when it's a signal to redesign
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and competing priorities without losing sight of the bigger architectural picture

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or SuiteCloud Developer
  • Experience with middleware platforms such as Celigo, Boomi, or MuleSoft
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SQL
  • Experience developing Advanced PDF/HTML templates
  • Background in Agile or fast-paced, cross-functional environments
  • Prior experience in apparel, manufacturing, or consumer goods

  • 401(k) with company match
  • Health care (medical, dental, vision)
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • PTO (vacation, personal days, and 9 company holidays)
  • Opportunities for continuing education and professional growth
  • Employee product discounts
