Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure GIS solutions for defense and aerospace programs
- Develop and optimize geospatial data models, ETL workflows, and map services
- Integrate GIS platforms with enterprise IT and data management systems
- Implement geospatial analytics to support mission planning and situational awareness
- Ensure compliance with defense industry security and data standards
- Collaborate with AI, data, and cloud teams to enable advanced geospatial analytics
- Troubleshoot performance, reliability, and data quality issues in GIS environments
- Document architectures, configurations, and operational procedures
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices and standards
