Hyperion Solutions Emco LLC is seeking a Machine Operator to run and monitor automated jobs that power our Oracle EPM and Hyperion solutions. In this Information Technology consulting environment, you will configure, schedule, and oversee data processing and integration jobs that support clients' financial planning, consolidation, and reporting. Responsibilities include executing and tracking daily and nightly runs, troubleshooting failures, analyzing logs, and escalating complex issues. You will follow detailed runbooks, collaborate closely with consultants and developers, and contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes, reliability, and performance. Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor automated data processing and integration tools that support Oracle EPM and Hyperion solutions
- Execute scheduled batch jobs, data loads, and processing runs, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
- Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate system and job failures, performance issues, and integration errors
- Follow runbooks and standard operating procedures to maintain stable production environments
- Document job configurations, schedules, and run results for audit and support purposes
- Collaborate with consultants and developers to refine job schedules, dependencies, and performance tuning
- Assist with environment checks, pre-run validations, and post-run reconciliations for financial data
- Support deployment and testing of new or updated jobs in non production and production environments
- Maintain basic scripting or configuration for automation tools, schedulers, and logging
- Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes, monitoring, and reliability
Required Skills
- Job scheduling and workload automation (e.g., Control-M, Autosys, Cron, or similar)
- Basic SQL for queries, validations, and troubleshooting
- Monitoring and alerting tools for system and job health
