You will supervise field crews, coordinate fiber and low-voltage cabling, oversee trenching and conduit placement, and ensure work meets design specs, safety standards, and local codes. The role includes reading network plans, managing subcontractors, tracking materials, and documenting as-builts. You'll collaborate closely with engineering and IT teams, mentor technicians, and drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement on every project.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise underground IT and network cabling crews
- Plan and coordinate daily field activities and project milestones
- Interpret engineering drawings, network plans, and specifications
- Oversee trenching, conduit, fiber, and low-voltage cable installation
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and local codes
- Inspect work quality and enforce construction and IT standards
