IT Senior Manager

Abbott Laboratories is seeking an IT Senior Manager to lead strategic technology initiatives supporting our global healthcare business. In this role, you will oversee IT teams delivering secure, reliable infrastructure and applications in a highly regulated environment. You will partner with business leaders to define roadmaps, drive complex projects from concept to deployment, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards. You will champion innovation, standardization, and continuous improvement while fostering an inclusive, growth-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT strategy and roadmap to support Abbott's global healthcare operations.
• Manage and mentor IT teams delivering infrastructure, applications, and services.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring scope, budget, and timelines are met.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, Gx
• P).
• Partner with business leaders to translate needs into scalable technology solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and automation across IT services.
• Manage vendor relationships and technology contracts to optimize value and performance.
• Monitor KPIs, service levels, and risks, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Champion inclusive, collaborative culture and support talent development within IT.
