Sr. Scrum Master

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a Sr. Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery for cross-functional teams building innovative healthcare and diagnostic solutions. In this role, you will facilitate key Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, metrics, and practices. You will partner closely with engineering, product, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure delivery in a regulated biotech environment. Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more cross-functional teams delivering healthcare technology solutions.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and protect the team from scope creep and distractions.
• Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum principles, metrics, and best practices.
• Partner with engineering, product, and quality/regulatory teams to align delivery with compliance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, experimentation, and data-driven insights.
• Support scaled Agile coordination across teams, dependencies, and release planning.
• Track and communicate delivery progress, risks, and issues to leadership and stakeholders.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture aligned with Abbott's mission and values.
• Mentor junior Scrum Masters and contribute to Agile practice development.
• Ensure transparency using product backlogs, roadmaps, and radiated metrics (e.g., burn-down, throughput).
