Applications Engineer

Securitas Technology is seeking an Applications Engineer to design, configure, and support integrated electronic security and life safety solutions for commercial and enterprise clients. You will translate customer requirements into robust system designs, integrating video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and monitoring platforms. Working closely with sales, project management, and field teams, you will support installation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable, compliant, and secure deployments. Responsibilities

• Design and configure electronic security and life safety application solutions for commercial and enterprise clients
• Translate customer requirements into technical specifications and system designs
• Integrate video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and monitoring platforms
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of security applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues
• Collaborate with sales, project management, and field technicians on solution delivery
• Ensure solutions meet security, safety, and regulatory standards
• Create technical documentation, configurations, and as-built records
• Provide technical guidance, training, and support to internal teams and clients
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation of security application offerings
