Job Description

Cox Automotive is seeking a Sr Lead Architect to drive end-to-end architecture for scalable, cloud-native platforms across our automotive and media ecosystem. You will define target architectures, guide microservices and API design, and ensure solutions meet performance, security, and reliability standards. Partner with engineering, product, and business leaders to align technology strategy with roadmap priorities, mentor engineers, and govern architecture best practices. Responsibilities

  • Define and own end-to-end target architectures for key Cox Automotive platforms and products.
  • Lead design of scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions using microservices and APIs.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to align architecture with business strategy and roadmaps.
  • Establish and enforce architecture standards, patterns, and governance processes.
  • Guide technology selection and reference architectures across teams and domains.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership, design reviews, and solution oversight for critical initiatives.
  • Mentor and coach engineers and architects, building architectural capability across teams.
  • Ensure non-functional requirements (performance, reliability, security, observability) are met.
  • Drive modernization of legacy systems toward modern, cloud-native architectures.
  • Partner with security, data, and infrastructure teams to deliver integrated enterprise solutions.
