Sr Lead Architect

Cox Automotive is seeking a Sr Lead Architect to drive the vision and design of large-scale, cloud-native platforms serving the automotive and media ecosystem. You will define end-to-end architectures, guide microservices and API design, and ensure scalability, security, and reliability across data-intensive products. Partner with engineering, product, and business leaders to align technology strategy with business goals, mentor architects and engineers, and champion modern DevOps, CI/CD, and observability practices in a collaborative, people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end solution and enterprise architectures for key Cox Automotive platforms.
• Lead design of scalable, secure, cloud-native systems using microservices and APIs.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business leaders to align technology strategy with objectives.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to architects and engineering teams.
• Establish and enforce architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across teams.
• Drive adoption of Dev
• Ops, CI/CD, and observability for highly available, resilient systems.
• Review and approve solution designs, ensuring performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Communicate architectural direction, trade-offs, and roadmaps to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
