Job Description

Year Up United's IT Systems Administration Training Program prepares motivated young adults for entry-level IT support and systems roles. In this full-time program, you'll learn core skills in user account management, device configuration, basic networking, and troubleshooting through instructor-led coursework, labs, and real-world projects. You'll practice ticketing tools and customer support, build a professional portfolio, and develop workplace skills. Supported by coaches and mentors, you'll be matched with a corporate internship, gaining hands-on experience that can lead to long-term IT career opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in instructor-led IT systems administration coursework and labs
  • Learn and practice user account, permissions, and device management
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Use ticketing tools to document, track, and resolve support requests
  • Apply basic networking and security concepts in lab environments
