ABM Industries seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth of our cold storage facility services portfolio. In this role, you will identify and qualify prospects across food, logistics, and industrial clients, build executive relationships, and lead the full sales cycle from discovery through proposal, pricing, and contract negotiation. Partnering closely with operations, you'll design solutions that improve safety, compliance, and efficiency in temperature-controlled environments. You'll forecast pipeline, meet revenue targets, and represent ABM's culture of safety, inclusion, and service while mentoring junior team members and supporting continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a growth strategy for ABM's cold storage facility services segment
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities in food, logistics, and industrial markets
- Lead the full sales cycle, including discovery, solution design, proposals, and contract negotiations
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and finance to craft safe, compliant, and cost-effective service solutions
- Manage a robust pipeline, forecast revenue, and meet or exceed sales and margin targets
- Build and maintain senior-level client relationships to drive retention and expansion
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and RFP responses
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs in cold storage and industrial facilities
- Mentor junior sales or business development team members
- Champion ABM's culture of safety, inclusion, and service in all client and internal interactions
