Edward Jones is seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence Engineer IV to strengthen our security posture in the Finance & Insurance sector. In this senior role, you will lead the collection, analysis, and operationalization of cyber threat intelligence to protect client and firm assets. You will design and refine threat detection use cases, integrate intel feeds with SIEM and SOAR platforms, and guide incident response with actionable context. Partner with security, infrastructure, and risk teams to assess emerging threats, drive mitigation strategies, mentor junior analysts, and support a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead collection and analysis of cyber threat intelligence to protect firm and client assets
- Develop and maintain threat detection use cases and signatures in SIEM tools
- Integrate threat intelligence feeds and data sources into SIEM/SOAR platforms
- Collaborate with incident response teams to provide context and guidance during investigations
- Monitor emerging threats, TTPs, and vulnerabilities relevant to financial services
- Perform threat modeling and risk assessments for critical systems and applications
- Create and maintain intelligence reports, dashboards, and executive summaries
- Mentor and guide junior analysts and engineers on CTI best practices
- Partner with security, infrastructure, and risk stakeholders to design mitigation strategies
- Contribute to continuous improvement of security operations processes and tooling
