Job Description

RedTown Technical Services, LLC seeks a Meteorologist I to turn complex weather data into clear, actionable insight for our small and mid-sized business clients. In this role, you'll analyze observational data and forecast models, build dashboards and reports, and integrate meteorological feeds into IT and continuity solutions. You'll monitor real-time conditions, support incident response, and explain risks in plain language. Working in a collaborative, learning-focused culture, you'll help shape scalable, weather-aware services in a fast-growing IT environment based in Gilbert, Arizona.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze weather data and models to produce accurate short- and medium-range forecasts for client operations
  • Monitor real-time weather conditions and alerts, escalating potential impacts to internal teams and customers
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and API feeds that integrate meteorological data into IT systems
  • Collaborate with engineers and support teams to embed weather intelligence into network and business continuity solutions
  • Communicate forecasts, risks, and recommendations clearly to non-technical business stakeholders
  • Contribute to process improvements and documentation for forecasting workflows and data quality
  • Support incident response and disaster recovery planning with weather-driven risk scenarios
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide weather insight during critical events
