NOC / SOC Technician

Leidos seeks a NOC / SOC Technician to support mission-critical IT and security operations for government and commercial clients. In this hybrid role near Reston, VA, you will monitor networks, systems, and security tools, triage alerts, resolve incidents, and escalate complex threats to senior engineers. You will use ticketing and SIEM tools, follow runbooks, and participate in change and maintenance activities. Responsibilities

• Monitor network, systems, and security events in a 24/7 NOC/SOCRespond to alerts, triage incidents, and perform initial troubleshooting
• Escalate security events and outages following established runbooks
• Perform basic network and system diagnostics and implement fixes
• Document incidents, actions taken, and resolutions in ticketing tools
• Collaborate with engineers and security teams on complex issues
• Support change implementation and maintenance windows
• Contribute to continuous improvement of monitoring and response processes
