Leidos seeks a NOC / SOC Shift Lead to oversee 24/7 network and security operations supporting mission-critical government and commercial environments. In this hybrid role based near Reston, VA, you will lead a team of analysts monitoring complex infrastructures, analyzing alerts, and driving rapid incident response. You will coordinate shift staffing, handoffs, and escalation, maintain runbooks and playbooks, and partner with cyber, infrastructure, and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve reliability. Responsibilities
- Lead NOC/SOC shift operations, ensuring 24/7 monitoring of networks, systems, and security events
- Coordinate incident triage, investigation, escalation, and resolution according to SLAs
- Analyze alerts, logs, and telemetry to identify threats, outages, and performance issues
- Guide shift analysts, provide on-the-job coaching, and maintain staffing and handoff procedures
- Collaborate with cyber, infrastructure, and engineering teams on root cause and remediation
- Maintain runbooks, playbooks, and documentation for operational excellence and compliance
- Report shift metrics, notable incidents, and trend analysis to management and stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement, automation, and standardization of monitoring and response processes
