Weyerhaeuser seeks a Sr Enterprise Architect to define and lead the enterprise architecture strategy across its sustainable timberlands and manufacturing operations. In this role, you will design scalable, secure solutions that connect mills, forests, supply chain, and corporate systems, enabling data-driven decisions and operational excellence. You'll own reference architectures, guide modernization to cloud and API-first platforms, and ensure alignment with safety, sustainability, and business goals. Partnering with leaders across IT, operations, and manufacturing, you'll provide technical governance, mentor architects and engineers, and evaluate emerging technologies that advance Weyerhaeuser's innovative, environmentally responsible mission.
Responsibilities
- Lead the enterprise architecture vision and roadmap supporting Weyerhaeuser's manufacturing and wood products businesses
- Design scalable, secure solutions that integrate mill, field, supply chain, and corporate systems
- Align technology strategy with business goals, sustainability objectives, and safety standards
- Define and maintain reference architectures, standards, and patterns for cloud, data, and application platforms
- Partner with product, operations, and manufacturing leaders to translate requirements into technical designs
- Provide technical governance for major programs, ensuring architectural compliance and quality
- Guide modernization of legacy systems toward cloud-native and API-driven architectures
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to ensure resilience and compliance
- Mentor engineers and solution architects, promoting best practices and architectural thinking
