Badger Daylighting is seeking an IT Support Technician to support our construction and hydrovac field operations across North America. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and basic network issues for office and field staff. You'll install and configure hardware and software, maintain user accounts, and resolve tickets via phone, email, and on-site visits. You'll work in a safety-focused, team-oriented culture, with strong training, exposure to industrial technology, and opportunities to grow into advanced technical or supervisory roles.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support for office and field staff, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers for construction and hydrovac crews.
- Administer user accounts, passwords, and permissions in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
- Monitor and respond to IT support tickets via phone, email, and remote tools within defined SLAs.
- Troubleshoot basic network and VPN issues in coordination with senior IT staff.
- Ensure all systems comply with company security, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Document incidents, solutions, and procedures to support continuous improvement.
- Assist with deployment of new IT equipment, software rollouts, and technology upgrades at field and office locations.
