Qwaltec is seeking a Solutions Architect to design and integrate mission-critical solutions for space and satellite systems. In this role, you will translate customer mission objectives into robust technical architectures, spanning systems engineering, ground and space operations, and training solutions. You will lead requirements analysis, system design, interface definition, and integration planning while ensuring mission assurance and high reliability. The Solutions Architect partners with engineers, operators, and customers to develop scalable, secure solutions, supports proposals and technical reviews, and mentors teams in best practices across the space and satellite domain.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer mission needs into end-to-end technical architectures for space and satellite systems
- Lead requirements analysis, system design, and interface definition across ground and space segments
- Develop integration, verification, and validation strategies ensuring mission assurance and reliability
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and training teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions
- Support proposals, technical reviews, and customer briefings with clear architecture documentation
- Mentor engineering teams on systems engineering and architecture best practices
- Assess technical risks and develop mitigation plans for high-reliability missions
