Vantor is seeking a Linux Systems Engineer to design, automate, and support secure, scalable infrastructure for modern web and data-driven solutions. You'll manage Linux servers across cloud and on-prem environments, implement automation for provisioning, deployments, and monitoring, and partner closely with software teams to optimize performance and reliability. In our collaborative, low-ego culture, you'll use agile practices, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD pipelines while growing skills in cloud, containers, and modern DevOps tooling on impactful client projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain Linux servers and related infrastructure in cloud and on-prem environments
- Implement automation for provisioning, deployments, monitoring, and routine operational tasks
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and security through hardening, patching, and capacity planning
- Collaborate with software engineers to optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for repeatable environments
- Monitor systems, respond to incidents, and perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Document architectures, runbooks, and standards to support scalable operations
- Contribute to continuous improvement of tooling, processes, and operational best practices
