Presence is seeking a remote Web Developer to build fast, responsive, and conversion-focused marketing websites for small and local businesses. In this role, you will translate designs into high-quality, accessible front-end experiences, integrate APIs and analytics, and optimize sites for SEO and performance. You'll collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and marketers to launch data-informed digital experiences, iterate based on results, and continuously improve our clients' online presence using modern web technologies and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, accessible marketing websites from provided designs using modern front-end technologies
- Implement and maintain clean, performant, and well-documented code aligned with best practices
- Integrate APIs, analytics, and tracking tools to support data-informed decision-making
- Optimize sites for SEO, page speed, and conversion performance across devices and browsers
- Collaborate with designers, strategists, and marketers to refine requirements and ship high-impact features
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and cross-browser inconsistencies
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain and enhance existing client websites, implementing updates and new functionality as needed
