TriVector Services Inc, a Huntsville-based engineering firm supporting NASA and DoD, seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead systems engineering on high-impact aerospace and defense programs. In this role you will own requirements development and management, system architecture support, interface definition, and integration and verification planning. You will apply MBSE techniques, support test and evaluation, manage technical risks, and produce clear technical documentation and briefings. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, you'll contribute to mission-critical solutions in a mission-focused, engineering-driven, small-company environment with growth and leadership opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Lead systems engineering efforts across requirements, design, integration, and verification for aerospace and defense programs.
- Develop, analyze, and manage system and subsystem requirements and interfaces, including ICDs.
- Plan and support test and evaluation activities to verify and validate system performance.
- Apply model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methods and tools to support system design and analysis.
- Identify, assess, and manage technical risks and issues, driving mitigation plans.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation, briefings, and reports to NASA, Do
- D, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and program management in a mission-focused environment.
- Support configuration management and change control for system baselines and technical data.
- Contribute to process improvement and technical best practices within the systems engineering team.
- Mentor junior engineers and support technical leadership on high-impact programs.
