The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) seeks a Software Engineer Group Lead to guide development of common domain software supporting world-class radio telescopes. In this role, you will lead a small team of engineers designing, implementing, and maintaining high-reliability, scalable software for astronomical data processing and observatory operations. You will collaborate closely with scientists, system engineers, and IT staff, set technical direction, review code, and ensure best practices in software architecture, testing, and deployment.
