Construction Business Development Manager - Expand Market Presence for a Leading General Engineering Contractor Job Overview Company: KASA Construction. Salary/Pay Rate: $75,000 annual base salary plus performance bonuses and commissions. Location: Chino, California. Job/Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (Minimum 3 days per week). The Opportunity You will serve as the face of KASA Construction, establishing critical industry relationships to expand our market presence throughout Southern California. This role allows you to drive long-term company growth by securing high-value public works and private construction opportunities. Your efforts will directly position our estimating and operations teams for continued, high-impact project success. How You Will Make an Impact Establish and maintain strong relationships with public agencies, developers, and general contractors. Identify upcoming civil construction projects and capital improvement programs before public advertisement. Secure invitations to bid and negotiated work for self-performed demolition, grading, and utility trades. Develop tailored marketing materials, capability statements, and agency-specific presentation packages. Leverage modern CRM platforms and AI tools to maximize outreach efficiency and brand consistency. Identify and document a pipeline of $5 million to $10 million in potential project opportunities. Required Qualifications & Experience Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills with a professional appearance. Demonstrated ability to work independently, maintain strong organizational skills, and follow up diligently. Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Proven business development, sales, or marketing experience within the construction, engineering, or utility sectors. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM software, LinkedIn, and modern AI tools. Compensation & Benefits $75,000 annual base salary. Quarterly performance bonus based on revenue growth and relationship development. New client commission program offering $1,000 for the first awarded contract with a new account.
