Rochester Precision Optics LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator to support the IT infrastructure powering advanced optical manufacturing and engineering operations. In this role, you will manage Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, storage, and core network services while ensuring high availability, security, and performance for production and design teams. You'll oversee user management, backups, and disaster recovery, implement cybersecurity best practices, and support ERP/MES and other critical manufacturing applications. Working in a collaborative, engineering-driven culture, you'll partner with optical, manufacturing, and quality teams to align systems with business needs, automate routine tasks, and continuously improve reliability and efficiency across our New York facility.
