Job Description

Manage the technical track of software development projects from inception to completion, ensuring tasks are completed before deadlines and distributed among team members. Consult with customers or departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues related to software design or maintenance. Lead discussions with systems analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems and gather information on project limitations, capabilities, and requirements. Oversee deployment pipelines and manage code releases using tools like Git and Docker. Conduct code reviews, enforce best coding practices, and contribute to the evolving technology stack. Mentor junior developers, architect and lead the design, development, and testing of Learning Management System web applications using JavaScript technologies. Design and develop front-end applications using libraries such as Tailwind CSS, Material UI, and Bootstrap. Maintain documentation of development and deployment processes, database structures, and consumed external APIs. Hybrid work permitted. Salary: $175,427 per year Requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering or a related field, and five years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or a related position designing, developing, and testing Learning Management Systems, Shareable Content Object Reference Models (SCORM), or related technologies. Also requires five (5) years of experience with each: 1) Designing and developing UI responsive front-end applications with state management using Next.js, React.js, Vue.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Redux; 2) Building horizontally scalable server-side applications using Node.js, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL; 3) Designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs and deploying the applications using Git, and Github Actions; 4) Designing and developing prototypes of UI wireframes using Figma and Material UI; 5) Developing applications using Azure and its component services including at minimum Microsoft Active Directory, Blob Storage, Blob Events, Key Vault, DevOps, App Services, and Databases.
