Job Description

This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring products meet customer and quality standards through audits, process improvements, and technical analysis. The position partners closely with operations to drive continuous improvement, resolve quality issues, and maintain compliance with established quality systems. Description Review and interpret customer specifications to ensure product compliance Provide technical and metallurgical support to manufacturing operations Analyze production data to identify quality issues and drive process improvements Conduct internal audits and support maintenance of the quality management system Investigate product nonconformance and lead root cause and corrective action efforts Partner with operations to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures Maintain quality documentation including FMEA, Control Plans, and related systems Respond to customer complaints and support resolution of quality issues Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and trials Generate quality reports, lead meetings, and perform daily floor audits Profile A Bachelor's or technical degree (flexible based on experience) 1+ years of quality engineering experience within a manufacturing environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly operations Experience working with quality systems such as ISO 9001 (preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment Exposure to metals, steel, or heavy industrial manufacturing (preferred) Job Offer Salary likely in the $70K-$90K range (or up to $100K for expereinced candidates) Full benefits (health, dental, vision) 401k with 6% match PTO structure (2 weeks 3 weeks after first year).
