Data center Technician

Title: Data Center Operations Technician Location: Reno, NV Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire Pay Range: $22 to $24 per hour What You'll Be Doing: Installing server racks, cabling, and data center hardware. Performing break/fix troubleshooting and resolving technical tickets. Supporting hardware deployments, equipment replacements, and infrastructure maintenance. Working in a fast-paced data center environment while following strict safety procedures. Collaborating with multiple teams to ensure uptime and operational efficiency. Must-Have Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (following safety guidelines). Comfortable working on ladders and in varying temperatures. Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts on a rotating schedule. Ability to complete OSHA 10 Construction Certification before start date. Strong work ethic, coachability, curiosity, and willingness to learn. Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Previous data center experience. Experience with server hardware, cabling, rack installation, or break/fix support. General technical proficiency (computers, email, Excel, ticketing systems). Experience in IT support, field service, telecom, or electronics environments.
