Motion Industries, Inc. seeks DevOps Engineers III in Birmingham, AL. Duties: Responsible for design and improvement of the software deployment pipeline utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, and other container-based environments, debugging, and application of troubleshooting skills. Identify opportunities to automate operations activities that slow the delivery process and establish continuous process improvement cycles where the process, performance, and supporting technologies are reviewed and enhanced. Collaborate with multiple teams to assist in application integration on multi-platform systems and the development, support & planning of systems and applications infrastructure. Develop CI/CD Pipelines and utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform. Must have Bachelor's degree (or its foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technology-driven field. Must have 5 years of software engineering experience including at least 2 years experience in SRE or DevOps software engineering roles. Must include experience working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools; experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and Terraform; and experience in performance diagnostics, capacity planning, performance, and architecture design. This role is being offered with a Hybrid Telecommuting Plan, with the position requiring work onsite at our Birmingham, AL HQ office as required by manager, and remote work otherwise permitted.
