The Opportunity: AI Development Lead

We're looking for an Experienced AI Development Lead to help us build and ship AI-powered features across our platform.

This is a hands-on builder role with ownership. You'll work directly on implementing AI solutions while helping shape how AI fits into our products and workflows. Not entry-level, but also not purely strategic. We need someone who can execute and grow with us.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship AI features inside our dental practice software
• Work on LLM-powered workflows (documentation, automation, insights)
• Design and implement APIs and services for AI capabilities
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams
• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes using AI
• Prototype quickly and iterate based on real user needs

Tech Stack / Requirements

• Languages: Python (required), familiarity with JavaScript or backend frameworks
• AI/ML:
  • Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI or similar)
  • Understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, and RAG
  • Familiarity with NLP and basic ML concepts

• Frameworks & Tools:
  • PyTorch or TensorFlow (basic proficiency is fine)
  • LangChain or similar orchestration tools
• Backend & Infra:
  • REST APIs and microservices
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Docker (Kubernetes is a plus)
• Data:
  • SQL and working with structured/unstructured data
  • Exposure to vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, etc.)

Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare or dental software
• Familiarity with HIPAA or sensitive data handling
• Experience building user-facing AI features
• Exposure to analytics or reporting systems
