Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Lead to own end-to-end solution delivery and support across Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM), Quality Management (QM), Materials Management (MM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Human Capital Management (HCM).

This role supports complex manufacturing environments with a strong focus on integration between SAP (ECC and/or S/4HANA), Manufacturing Execution Systems (Solumina), Product Lifecycle Management (Siemens Teamcenter), and other non-SAP systems. The SAP Lead serves as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, providing functional leadership across build, integrate, and run operations.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Functional & Solution Support

Provide SAP PP, PM, QM, MM, SCM, and HCM solution design and delivery across manufacturing and supply chain processes

Act as functional design lead and ensure alignment with SAP best practices - Oversee enhancements, testing, deployments, and upgrades

Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions


MES, PLM & Non-SAP Integration

Lead and govern integration between SAP and Solumina MES for shop floor execution and manufacturing data exchange.

Support SAP integration with Siemens Teamcenter for engineering BOMs, product changes, and master data alignment.

Ensure end-to-end data integrity, traceability, and system reliability across integrated platforms

Production Support & Operations Leadership

Own steady-state SAP production support across manufacturing and supply chain domains

Ensure system stability, performance, and business continuity in a 24x7 environment.

Lead incidents, problems, and change management processes using ServiceNow.

Drive root cause analysis, defect resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives


Project & Program Leadership

Serve as SAP workstream or solution lead on SAP upgrades, S/4HANA transformations, and development/enhancement projects

Manage scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones

Provide clear status reporting and decision support to stakeholders and leadership


Client-Facing & Stakeholder Engagement

Act as a trusted advisor to business and client stakeholders

Lead requirements workshops, design reviews, and solution walkthroughs

Translate technical concepts into clear business-oriented communication

Build strong partnerships across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams


Team Leadership & Collaboration

Lead and mentor SAP functional/technical support teams

Allocate work, set priorities, and ensure quality, on-budget, and timely delivery

Coordinate with system integrators and third-party vendors


Technical & Integration Awareness

Working knowledge of ABAP to review custom programs, enhancements, BADIs, and user exits

Strong understanding of SAP integration architecture and data flows

Support testing, defect triage, and performance optimization activities


Required Qualifications

Minimum of 10-15+ years of SAP functional experience across multiple workstreams/modules (e.g. PP, PM, QM, MM, SCM, and HCM).

Prior experience as SAP Lead, Solution Lead, or Workstream Lead

Hands-on experience with MES integration, preferably Solumina

Working knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter or equivalent PLM platforms

Experience supporting SAP production environments

Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments


Preferred Qualifications

S/4HANA implementation or migration experience

Industry background in Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, or Discrete Manufacturing

SAP certifications (PP, MM, QM, S/4HANA)

Experience with global, multi-plant SAP landscapes.

Working knowledge of ServiceNow.


Requirements
