Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer / Power Platform Developer Location: Cayce, SC (Hybrid - 4 Days Onsite / 1 Day Remote) Job ID: 10677 Employment Type: 12-Month Contract (Possibility of Extension) Job Overview The South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH) is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Developer to join the Office of Information Technology. This role is critical to modernizing public health systems, supporting our Office 365 Government G5 environment, and developing scalable solutions that touch the lives of South Carolinians every day. You will design and implement end-to-end automation and business solutions using the full Power Platform stack to ensure secure, reliable, and streamlined service delivery. Primary Responsibilities Application Development: Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions using Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse). Customization: Build model-driven and canvas applications; customize Dynamics 365 modules including Customer Service, Field Service, and Finance & Operations. Advanced Logic: Develop C# plugins, custom workflows, and JavaScript-based form scripting to support complex business logic. Integration & Automation: Design Power Automate workflows and integrate solutions with external systems like Azure Functions, REST APIs, and SQL. Data Management: Architect Dataverse models and lead data migrations while ensuring data integrity and performance optimization. Security & Compliance: Configure role-based access and ensure all solutions meet NIST, HIPAA, and CJIS security standards. ALM: Manage the full Application Lifecycle Management process, including version control and deployment across Dev, Test, and Prod environments. Basic Qualifications 5+ Years of experience with MS Dynamics 365. 5+ Years of experience with PowerApps and Power BI. 5+ Years of experience with Workflow design and implementation. 5+ Years of experience with MS SQL, Microsoft Active Directory/AAD, and PowerShell. 5+ Years of experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, XML, and RSS. 5+ Years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-level systems architectures. Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. Preferred Skills Experience building and deploying Dynamic Packages. Experience with security and data classification (CDC, HIPAA, CJIS). Experience with Power BI data pipelines for reporting and analytics. Work Environment & Requirements Hybrid Schedule: 4 days per week onsite at our Cayce, SC campus; 1 day remote (remote eligibility begins after the first month). Hours: 40 hours per week. Residency Requirement: Candidates must currently reside in SC, NC, or GA and be willing to relocate to South Carolina prior to the start date at their own expense.
