JT4 China Lake is seeking a highly experienced Configuration Management Specialist to design, develop, and establish CM documentation based on program requirements. The incumbent will identify requirements and coordinate development and implementation of computer-based configuration, data management systems, and electronic data support. JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges. Need to have an active Secret clearance to start and will need to upgrade to a TS clearance This position is located at China Lake and is not eligible for telework Range Requirements Provide Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM) support for the enhanced security sites and systems at the China Lake Ranges. Duties to include processing Change Requests (CRs) and Requests for Variances (RFVs), pulling reports and meeting agendas, capturing and disseminating detailed minutes, performing status accounting, and leading Configuration Control Boards (CCB). Duties could also include database administration, librarian support, assigning document numbers, reviewing documentation to ensure it aligns with CLR standards, maintaining desktop procedures, and light document editing. Job Summary Essential Functions/Duties A CM Specialist IV performs work that is varied and complex in nature in one or more specialty area of CM or engineering data. Employee will be responsible to perform the following functions/duties: Analyze engineering change proposals Monitor contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure the applications of customer and industry standards and requirements for statements of work are properly implemented Design, develop, and establish CM documentation based on program requirements Participate in design reviews, audits, scheduling, budgeting, and related activities Identify requirements and coordinate development and implementation of computer-based configuration, data management systems, and electronic data support Record minutes and action items from program/project-conducted Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) Identify CM tools requirements and implement CM systems Prepare and approve CM plans Provide work direction to subordinate work unit personnel Perform other job-related duties, as required. Requirements Education, Technical, and Work Experience A bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field, or nine years of directly related CM experience are required for this position. In addition, a CM Specialist IV must possess the following qualifications: Proficient in computer operations, word processing, and integrated software applications, including electronic data management systems (EDMSs) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent planning/organizational skills The expected salary range for this position is $83,907.20 to $132,520.96 annually The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. Working Conditions Work is primarily sedentary in an office environment. Travel to remote company work locations may be required.
