Onsite Advanced IT Specialist / Developer (Growth Opportunity)
We are seeking a driven and versatile Onsite Advanced IT Specialist / Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation, hands-on experience, and a desire to expand their skills across development, databases, networking, and systems.
This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple areas of IT and software development, with significant room for growth for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
1. Application Development & Integration
- Develop, debug, and maintain custom NetSuite SuiteScripts (Client, User Event, Scheduled, Suitelets)
- Build and manage integrations using RESTlets and SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST APIs)
- Map and transform JSON and XML data between internal systems and NetSuite
- Ensure accurate, real-time data synchronization across platforms
2. Full-Stack Development & Database Engineering
- Architect and develop ColdFusion (CFML) applications using existing frameworks
- Maintain and enhance legacy ColdFusion code and components (CFCs)
- Design and manage Oracle database objects (tables, triggers, procedures, functions)
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large datasets and reporting
- Build and maintain responsive interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
3. Infrastructure, Networking & Systems
- Administer and maintain the Axigen mail server environment
- Configure and manage firewalls, DNAT/SNAT, and DNS
- Maintain secure and reliable internal/external network connectivity
- Oversee automated backups using tools such as rsync
- Validate and maintain disaster recovery procedures
4. Helpdesk & Technical Support
- Provide Tier 1-3 support across hardware, operating systems, and business applications
- Troubleshoot network, desktop, and system issues
- Support end users with day-to-day technical needs (Windows, iOS, Android)
- Perform system setup, configuration, and maintenance
- Execute secure data backup and restoration processes
Core Technical Knowledge
- Windows Desktop and Server configuration
- TCP/IP and networking fundamentals
- System and network troubleshooting
- End-user support best practices
- Mobile device support (iOS and Android)
Required Qualifications
- Strong foundation in networking and IT systems
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Solid troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies

Experience with any of the following is a plus:
