What You'll Do:

  • Install and set up high-end home automation and AV systems, including home theaters, networking, lighting control, and surveillance systems.
  • Run and terminate audio, video, and network cables with precision.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and fine-tune AV systems for optimal performance.
  • Work closely with customers to ensure their systems meet expectations and provide hands-on training when needed.
  • Program and configure smart home systems from brands like Crestron, Control4, Lutron, Savant, RTI, and URC.
  • Perform basic electrical wiring and construction as part of installations.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in every job.

What We're Looking For:

  • 1+ years of AV installation experience (home automation, networking, or low-voltage systems).
  • Strong low-voltage installation and wire management skills.
  • Experience with CCTV installation and NVR setup.
  • Proficiency in network configuration, audio/video setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the field.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers and teammates.
  • A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • Bonus: Experience programming Crestron, Control4, Lutron, Savant, RTI, or URC systems.

Physical Demands:

• Required to walk, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, climb, balance, kneel, reach, grasp, occasionally sit.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50lbs.
• This position works in a typical office environment and at customers' sites.
• Ability to drive for extended periods of time throughout the day to travel to customer sites.
• Clarity of vision including the ability to appropriately differentiate colors.
• Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.
