Overview of Oracle Database Developer Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database solutions to support business applications.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and PL/SQL code.
- Support database upgrades, enhancements, and performance tuning initiatives.
- Analyze and resolve database-related issues, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application developers, analysts, and business users.
- Participate in data modeling, schema design, and database architecture discussions.
- Assist with data migrations, integrations, and ETL processes.
- Contribute to project planning, task management, and delivery timelines.
Qualifications of Oracle Database Developer
- 5-7+ years of Oracle database development experience.
- Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
