Job duties Design, architect and build Skyflow cloud infrastructure. Implement engineering and infrastructure best practices. Provide thought leadership to Skyflow infrastructure and platform engineering. Design the infrastructure for high availability. Optimize cloud cost. Responsible for the success of platform engineering projects. May oversee the work of engineers. Remote position work anywhere in U.S. Education and Experience required Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. 12 years of experience in software engineering, site reliability engineering or DevOps. Alternate Education and Experience - Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field and 10 years of experience in software engineering, site reliability engineering or DevOps. Background 8 years of experience architecting large scale cloud infrastructure. 8 years of experience building CI/CD at enterprise scale. 8 years of experience working with engineers across geographies and time zones. 10 years of coding experience, including 5 years with Golang, 5 years with JavaScript, and 3 years with Terraform and Helm. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders (backend, frontend, PM) and leadership. 4 years of experience with container orchestration, Docker, argoCD, and Kubernetes. 8 years of experience with full stack development. 8 years of experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture. 8 years of experience building internal developer tools. 4 years of experience with monitoring and observability tools and applications, including Splunk, Data Dog, NewRelic, AppDynamics, ElasticSearch. 8 years of experience implementing AWS/GCP/Azure services in a variety of distributed computing environments. 5 years of experience working with development teams in a SCRUM.
