Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer to design and deliver next-generation, patient-facing digital experiences powered by autonomous agents and Salesforce platforms. This role will focus on building intelligent, SMS-enabled engagement solutions that integrate seamlessly into the Salesforce Service Console, enabling both patients and contact center agents to interact efficiently.

You will play a key role in developing applications using OmniStudio, working within a Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) model that emphasizes rapid delivery, high ownership, and close collaboration with business stakeholders.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and build patient-facing autonomous agents using Agentforce and Salesforce Digital Engagement
  • Integrate AI-driven agents with SMS/texting platforms to enable real-time patient communication
  • Embed and optimize agent functionality within the Salesforce Service Console for contact center users
  • Develop scalable, high-performance applications using OmniStudio (OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures)
  • Own end-to-end delivery including development, testing, deployment, and production support
  • Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Operate in a hybrid Agile + Forward Deployed Engineering model, delivering solutions in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Ensure solutions meet standards for performance, scalability, security, and usability


QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with strong expertise in Service Cloud
  • Proven experience building autonomous or conversational agents using Agentforce and/or Digital Engagement
  • Hands-on experience integrating SMS/texting platforms within Salesforce ecosystems
  • Deep expertise in OmniStudio, including:
  • OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures
  • Experience building and deploying solutions within the Salesforce Service Console
  • Strong understanding of API integrations and event-driven architectures
  • Demonstrated ability to own full lifecycle delivery (build test deploy support)
  • Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with evolving requirements

Preferred

  • Experience designing patient-facing or customer-facing digital engagement solutions
  • Familiarity with AI/automation frameworks and conversational design principles
  • Experience in healthcare or regulated environments (HIPAA awareness is a plus)
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer, OmniStudio Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant)
