Array Corporation is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys solving meaningful problems with technology, especially when the solution doesn't look like a traditional app. This role is for builders who think in systems, challenge assumptions, and use modern tools to turn intent into outcomes. You'll own critical parts of the platform, shape architecture, and influence product direction.

What You'll Do

  1. Own complex systems and features end-to-end, from design through production
  2. Make architectural decisions that scale across teams and time
  3. Turn ambiguous requirements into clear, reliable solutions
  4. Build and operate distributed systems with performance, security, and reliability in mind
  5. Partner deeply with product and design to shape what gets built
  6. Raise the engineering bar through code reviews, standards, and mentorship

How You Think

  1. You frame software as a means to solve real-world problems
  2. You're comfortable operating in ambiguity and defining the problem space
  3. You balance pragmatism with long-term system health
  4. You optimize for outcomes over activity
  5. You enjoy growing others while continuing to grow yourself

What You Bring

  1. 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
  2. Experience designing and running production systems at scale
  3. Strong technical judgment across architecture, data, and cloud infrastructure
  4. Clear communication with both technical and non-technical teammates

Preferred Qualification

  1. Experience with AI-driven or automation-heavy systems
  2. Familiarity with event-driven, messaging, or conversational interfaces
  3. Evidence of curiosity: open source, side projects, or experimentation
