Our client, a leading controls engineering and system integration firm specializing in Process/Motion Controls for manufacturing, is seeking a Lead Controls Systems Engineer , to design, develop, and implement machine and process control systems for extrusion, plastics, and converting industries. Some travel required. Remote Option Available Key Responsibilities: Design and program PLCs, HMIs, drive systems, and temperature controls Lead or assist in system start-up both in-shop and at customer sites. Conduct training classes for customers in specialized technologies. Manage project milestones, costs, and schedules Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams Qualifications: 2-year degree or equivalent experience in automation/motion control 10+ years in controls engineering Solid communication and project management skills Skills & Tools: PLCs: Rockwell (ControlLogix, CompactLogix), Siemens (S7) Drives: SSD, Rockwell Powerflex SCADA/HMI: Wonderware, Ignition, FactoryTalk CAD: AutoCAD, ePlan Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, UL standards We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status.
