Join our team in Dearborn, MI as a Senior Mainframe Developer supporting critical enterprise applications in a complex, integrated environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on mainframe professional with strong experience in COBOL, DB2, JCL, IMS DB/DC, and MQ Series who enjoys working across the full development lifecycle, from design and development through testing, deployment, support, and ongoing product improvement. You will help maintain and enhance mainframe-based products that interface with multiple systems across regions while partnering with business and technical teams in a hybrid Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, maintain, and deploy software applications and products to meet customer needs Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including software architecture, coding, testing, and deployment Perform software development in mainframe technologies including COBOL, DB2, JCL, IMS DB/DC, and MQ Series Develop foundational knowledge of the business, business model, key processes, and priorities, and apply that knowledge to solutions Employ and champion Agile software processes, culture, best practices, and techniques Facilitate Agile ceremonies Engineer a high-quality minimum viable product iteratively Prioritize, groom, and maintain the backlog of stories for iterative engineering Understand business and user priorities, along with technical feasibility, to prioritize the product backlog and manage risks Operate, monitor, and support mainframe-based products interfacing with multiple products across regions Manage and align interdependencies across projects Identify product improvements using data and/or customer feedback Manage complex initiatives including integration, risks, and issues Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 10+ years in IT 5+ years in development 6+ years of hands-on experience in mainframe technologies including COBOL, DB2, JCL, IMS DB/DC, and MQ Series Experience with IBM DB2, COBOL, and Mainframe Systems 3+ years practicing Agile ceremonies and tools Excellent communication and collaboration skills Strong belief in and experience with Agile ceremonies, practices, and tools Experience interfacing Agile teams with non-Agile teams Demonstrated capability to manage complex initiatives, including integration, risks, and issues Ability to think innovatively to identify product improvements using data and/or customer feedback Good business relationship management skills Basic knowledge of the Manufacturing Domain What Makes HTC A Great Place To Build Your Future HTC Global Services wants you to join our team.
