The Business Development Manager - will focus on driving growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities for a General Contractor. This role requires a motivated professional who excels in relationship-building and has a strong understanding of the sales process in the construction sector. Client Details Our client is a General Contractor with over 35 years of experience building throughout Florida. They have a solid reputation for delivering quality results and are committed to fostering growth and innovation within their team. Description Identify and develop new business opportunities within the property and construction sector. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients. Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored proposals that meet client needs. Negotiate and close contracts to secure profitable business deals. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients to showcase the company's offerings. Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business development activities. Profile A successful Business Development Manager should have: Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field with a General Contractor. Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders. Experience operating as Project Manager / Estimator for construction projects (REQUIRED) A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets. Knowledge of market trends and the ability to identify new opportunities in the construction sector. Proficiency in preparing and delivering professional presentations.
