Hardware Maintenance and Testing Technician - Senior (US)
12 month Contract
Austin Campus, TX, On-Site position

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
• 2+ years of PC validation/testing or motherboard debugging and troubleshooting experience.
• Soldering experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware issues quickly.
• Solid understanding of PC x86 architecture and system-level knowledge of subsystems: Memory, PCI-E, USB, SATA, Ethernet, Processor, and Chipset.
• Install and configure PC hardware components (processors, storage drives, graphics cards, memory, network cards).
• Set up and maintain BIOS configurations, device drivers, and system-level applications.
• Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Comfortable with Linux command line for system configuration and automation.
• Experience with x86 software configuration and modification.
• Execute test plans and maintain test farm infrastructure to ensure system readiness.
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, schematics, and PC layouts.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills; able to clearly document test results and report issues.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Quick learner, able to adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm, team spirit, and proactive problem-solving.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for issue reporting and documentation
