You will regularly work on: Self-priming centrifugal pumps Mag drive pumps Vertical turbine pumps Air-operated diaphragm pumps Gorman-Rupp is primary pump line Occasional work on other types of pumps and rotating process equipment, including gearboxes, blowers, motors, valves, mixers/agitators, etc. Responsibilities: Disassemble and inspect customer equipment Diagnose root cause of failure Prepare repair scopes and parts requirements Rebuild pumps and rotating equipment to OEM standards Replace bearings, seals, shafts, impellers, and wear components Perform laser alignment Assist with field troubleshooting, equipment removal, installation, and start-up Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused shop environment Coordinate with service & sales leadership on job timelines and parts requirements. Please note : This is a hands-on industrial pump repair and rebuild role within an OEM-authorized service center - not a general maintenance technician position. Familiarity with laser alignments - comfortable performing in the field Capable of reading and understanding parts diagrams and mechanical drawings Valid driver's license Relevant Experience / Backgrounds We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in: Industrial pump repair and rebuild Centrifugal pump repair (ANSI/API) Vertical turbine pump service Self-priming pump rebuild AODD pump repair Rotating equipment rebuild Mechanical seal replacement Bearing and shaft repair Laser alignment Industrial millwright or rotating equipment service backgrounds Candidates coming from pump distributors, industrial service centers, rotating equipment shops, or millwright environments with hands-on pump rebuild experience are encouraged to apply.
