This job is with Gilead Sciences Inc., an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork - the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. Please do not contact the recruiter directly. At Gilead, we're creating a healthier world for all people. For more than 35 years, we've tackled diseases such as HIV, viral hepatitis, COVID-19 and cancer - working relentlessly to develop therapies that help improve lives and to ensure access to these therapies across the globe. We continue to fight against the world's biggest health challenges, and our mission requires collaboration, determination and a relentless drive to make a difference. Every member of Gilead's team plays a critical role in the discovery and development of life-changing scientific innovations. Our employees are our greatest asset as we work to achieve our bold ambitions, and we're looking for the next wave of passionate and ambitious people ready to make a direct impact. We believe every employee deserves a great leader. People Leaders are the cornerstone to the employee experience at Gilead and Kite. As a people leader now or in the future, you are the key driver in evolving our culture and creating an environment where every employee feels included, developed and empowered to fulfil their aspirations. Join Gilead and help create possible, together. Job Description The Senior Director, Applied AI Solutions, leads the applied AI function within the AI Research Center (ARC), part of Gilead's Clinical Data Science (CDS) organization in Drug Development. As CDS's center of excellence for applied AI, this leader is accountable for the technical and product path from a prioritized AI use case defined by CDS functional organizations to a trusted, reusable capability in production - spanning discovery, experimentation, technical validation, first production release, adoption support, and measured value. The ownership model is deliberate. Business ownership of priorities, requirements, funding, process change, and workflow outcomes remains with the CDS and Development functions, including Clinical Data Engineering & Analytics (CDEA) and Statistical Programming. Enterprise platform services, infrastructure, and scaled production operations and support remain with Enterprise IT and Development Systems. This role supplies the AI expertise, solution engineering, and delivery capacity that make both possible, and is measured on how effectively it accelerates outcomes owned by others. The role combines technical depth, product-minded execution, and people leadership. You will define ARC's applied AI engineering practices - model and prompt lifecycle, evaluation, agent design patterns, solution architecture - and influence the enterprise engineering and architecture standards owned by IT, while remaining close enough to the work to make consequential design decisions and to lead multidisciplinary teams building AI systems for internal CDS and Development users. Priority domains for AI enablement may include clinical data review and insights, study design and operations, biomarker and real-world data workflows, safety and risk detection, regulatory evidence generation, and scientific knowledge access. In each of these domains the owning CDS or Development function leads its own workflow and process transformation agenda; this role provides the AI solutions, methods, and technical expertise that enable it. Applied AI Solutions favors reusable capabilities over isolated proofs of concept. The team builds on Gilead's approved data, cloud, security, privacy, and responsible-AI foundations and on the enterprise platform services provided by IT, and partners closely with ARC's Product Management & Experiences (PMx) and AI Acceleration (AIx) functional (scientific and operational) teams, as well as with Development Systems, Enterprise IT, Information Security, Privacy, Legal, Quality, CDEA, Statistical Programming, and business stakeholders. The mandate: turn high-value Clinical Data Science and Development AI problems - as prioritized by their business owners - into trusted, reusable, production-grade AI capabilities that improve how Gilead designs, conducts, analyzes, and learns from clinical development. Key Responsibilities As the Senior Director of Applied AI Solutions, you will: Applied AI engineering roadmap. In partnership with CDS and Development business owners, Enterprise IT, and ARC leadership, translate prioritized AI demand into a multi-year applied AI engineering and delivery plan tied to CDS and Development outcomes. Business owners decide what to pursue and why; you bring the AI expertise that informs those decisions - feasibility, solution options, effort, data readiness, reuse potential, and technical risk - recommend sequencing, and supply the evidence that allows owners and governance forums to decide whether to scale, redesign, or stop an initiative. Anchor on the core, high-value Development AI priorities while also enabling CDS priorities beyond DevAI and IT-funded use cases; for those outside the enterprise-funded portfolio, CDS functional leaders hold business ownership of the roadmap and requirements, and this role builds agents and solutions directly or guides partners to evaluate, select, and integrate the right third-party capabilities. AI solution design and delivery (0 1). Own the design, build, evaluation, and technical validation of AI services, applications, agents, and shared components through first production release. Co-design with Enterprise IT and Development Systems from the outset so that solutions are built for scale, then hand over to IT-owned platform and operations for enterprise scaling and sustained run, remaining the accountable AI technical partner after transition. Establish reference solutions and workflow designs for model gateways, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), semantic search, knowledge graphs, multimodal AI, tool use, workflow orchestration, human review, and integration with validated enterprise systems. Agentic systems and interoperability. Guide the responsible use of agentic patterns for bounded, auditable CDS workflows. In partnership with Enterprise IT, Information Security, and Privacy, use open interoperability protocols such as MCP and A2A where appropriate to connect AI applications and agents to governed data, tools, and workflows, and ensure authorization, least-privilege access, provenance, action controls, and human escalation are designed in from the start and that agents are registered in the enterprise agent registry. AI engineering excellence. Define and uphold ARC's applied AI engineering practices - data contracts, model and prompt lifecycle management, evaluation harnesses, LLMOps/MLOps, automated testing, and reproducible releases - while adopting and contributing to the enterprise standards owned by IT for software engineering, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and security. Build for reliability, latency, cost, maintainability, portability, and graceful failure, not demonstrations alone. Evaluation, observability, and responsible AI. Make evaluation a first-class engineering discipline. Establish offline and online evals, gold-standard datasets, task and outcome metrics, trace-based observability, model and data monitoring, adversarial testing, and incident response. Partner with Responsible AI enterprise teams and control functions to implement risk-tiered governance, privacy, security, records, auditability, explainability, and GxP or regulatory controls when applicable. Adoption and value realization. Co-own product discovery and experience design with PMx and support adoption alongside CDS workflow owners. Operate as an expert partner, not a gatekeeper - augmenting their workflows while they retain ownership of priorities, requirements, process change, and outcomes. Working from baselines the business defines, instrument and report the scientific, operational, quality, and user outcomes AI solutions deliver: cycle-time reduction, improved signal detection, decision quality, reuse, reliability, and sustained utilization. Team and technical leadership. Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team spanning applied AI, machine learning, and software and data engineering. Set a high technical bar through technical design reviews, design critiques, coaching, and selective hands-on prototyping. Create clear career paths, succession plans, and an inclusive culture of scientific rigor, learning, accountability, and responsible experimentation. Ecosystem stewardship. Contribute the AI assessment that informs build, buy, and partner decisions taken jointly with business owners and IT; manage strategic AI vendors within that framework; and assess emerging models, frameworks, and protocols through evidence-based benchmarks. Represent Gilead in selected external collaborations while protecting confidential data, intellectual property, and freedom to operate. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE A focused CDS and Development AI portfolio with transparent priorities set by business owners, accountable delivery owners, measurable outcomes, and fewer disconnected pilots. Reusable AI capabilities built on the enterprise platform, and integration patterns co-designed with IT that shorten the path from a validated use case to a supported production service. Several high-value CDS and Development workflows operating in production - delivered with ARC and transitioned cleanly to IT-supported operations - with appropriate human oversight, documented controls, reliable performance, and sustained user adoption. . click apply for full job details

This job is with Colt Technology Services, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork - the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. Please do not contact the recruiter directly. Colt provides network, voice and data centre services to thousands of businesses around the world, allowing them to focus on delivering their business goals instead of the underlying infrastructure. Summary Job title : Senior AI Engineer Reports to : VP of AI Technology and Architecture Job location : Must have ability to be onsite in Boulder, CO office for 2-3 days a week About Colt and the AI Practice Colt Technology Services is a global digital infrastructure company, operating one of the world's largest fiber networks across Europe and Asia. We are building a Boulder-based AI team as the engineering center of our AI Practice. The team is responsible for how AI is adopted, governed, and scaled across Colt. The AI Practice operates across several parallel workstreams, including use case delivery, AI WAN, and private AI. The Boulder team is where we build, test, and validate before we scale. Why we need this role This is a build role. You will take AI use cases from a business problem to something running in production and being used every day: retrieval and search over Colt's own data, agents that carry out multi-step work, and AI built into the systems Colt's teams already rely on. We are looking for a strong software engineer first. If you have spent eight to ten years building and running production systems and even if you have not yet shipped an LLM-based product, we want to hear from. The platform, the tooling, and the model access are already in place, and a staff-level AI engineer on the team will pair with you directly on the AI side of the work. The AI-specific skills you can bring to the table is a plus but is also learnable. The engineering experience and judgement that comes from having owned real systems in production is not, and that is the part we are hiring for. What we do expect is that you have already got hands on with AI, whether at work or as a side project for yourself. You will be working directly with the Colt teams taking requirements from them. The team is small by design, the problems are real, and what you build in your first year sets the pattern for how Colt builds AI. What you will do Build AI Use Cases Design and build AI applications end to end: data access, retrieval, model calls, orchestration, and the interfaces people use Work with large language models through APIs and self-hosted inference, covering prompting, tool use, retrieval, and multi-step agent workflows Build evaluation harnesses that show whether a use case is good enough to ship, and keep owning them after it ships Integrate AI into Colt's existing systems and data, within the constraints of a live enterprise environment Work Directly With the Business Work with the Colt teams, who will be your customers, and who will use what you build, across network operations, service delivery, finance, and others Turn a loosely described business problem into a scoped, buildable design Show working software early and often, and change direction when the first answer turns out to be wrong Be straight with stakeholders about what AI is not the right tool for Take It to Production and Keep It There Move your own work from prototype to production-grade: tested, instrumented, documented, and supportable Monitor accuracy, latency, and cost in production, and act when they drift Work with platform engineers on deployment, and hand over cleanly to production operations Contribute reusable patterns, components, and internal libraries so the next use case is faster than the last What we're looking for Engineering Experience: 8-10+ years building production software. You have owned systems end to end: designed them, shipped them, operated them, and been on the hook when they broke. Languages: Strong in Python, or strong in another language such as Java, Go, C#, or TypeScript and ready to work primarily in Python. Production Systems: APIs and service integration, working with real data at scale, testing, CI/CD, and debugging things that are already live in front of users. Cloud: Comfortable in any major cloud. We build primarily on Google Cloud; equivalent AWS or Azure experience is ok to start. Working Style: Comfortable with ambiguity and with direct contact with non-technical stakeholders. You ask what the problem is before deciding what to build. Hands-On with AI: You have already built something with it under your own steam. A side project, a prototype at work, an internal tool, a serious evaluation you ran, or agentic coding tools you use daily and have opinions about. It does not need to have shipped, been finished, or worked. We want to hear what you tried, what broke, and what you concluded. Helpful, Not Required: Any of this at enterprise scale: production RAG over messy real-world data, agent frameworks, evaluation tooling, Vertex AI, Kubernetes, Terraform. Useful if you have it, and teachable if you do not. HOW YOU WILL RAMP You pair with a staff-level AI engineer from your first week, on a live use case rather than a training exercise The AI platform is already running: model gateway, evaluation tooling, deployment pipelines, and sandbox, development, and production environments We expect you to put something small into real use inside your first 90 days, and to lead a use case end to end within six months WHEN WE TALK Come ready to walk us through something you have built with AI, however small or unfinished. We would rather see a rough prototype you can explain in depth than a polished project you cannot. Expect us to ask where it fell short, what you would do differently, and how you decided whether it was any good. How you evaluated it matters more to us than what you shipped. If you have not used AI tools in your own engineering work, this will be a difficult conversation. That is the one gap we are not set up to close for you. What we offer you: Looking to make a mark? At Colt, you'll make a difference. Because around here, we empower people. We don't tell you what to do. Instead, we employ people we trust, who come together across the globe to create intelligent solutions. Our global teams are full of ambitious, driven people, all working together towards one shared purpose: to put the power of the digital universe in the hands of our customers wherever, whenever and however they want. We give our people the opportunity to inspire and lead teams, and work on projects that connect people, cities, businesses, and ideas. We want you to help us change the world, for the better. Diversity and inclusion Inclusion and valuing diversity of thought and experience are at the heart of our culture here at Colt. From day one, you'll be encouraged to be yourself because we believe that's what helps our people to thrive. We welcome people with diverse backgrounds and experiences, regardless of their gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, race, religion, disability, neurodiversity, age, marital status, pregnancy status, or place of birth. Most recently we have: Signed the UN Women Empowerment Principles which guide our Gender Action Plan Trained 60 (and growing) Colties to be Mental Health First Aiders Please speak with a member of our recruitment team if you require adjustments to our recruitment process to support you. For more information about our Inclusion and Diversity agenda, visit our DEI pages . Benefits Our benefits support you through all parts of life, for both physical and mental health. Flexible working hours and the option to work from home. Extensive induction program with experienced mentors and buddies. Opportunities for further development and educational opportunities. Global Family Leave Policy. Employee Assistance Program. Internal inclusion & diversity employee networks. A global network When you join Colt you become part of our global network. We are proud of our colleagues and the stories and experience they bring - take a look at 'Our People' site including our Empowered Women in Tech.

This job is with Braze, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork - the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. Please do not contact the recruiter directly. At Braze, we have found our people. We're a genuinely approachable, exceptionally kind, and intensely passionate crew. We seek to ignite that passion by setting high standards, championing teamwork, and creating work-life harmony as we collectively navigate rapid growth on a global scale while striving for greater equity and opportunity - inside and outside our organization. To flourish here, you must be prepared to set a high bar for yourself and those around you. There is always a way to contribute: Acting with autonomy, having accountability and being open to new perspectives are essential to our continued success. Our deep curiosity to learn and our eagerness to share diverse passions with others gives us balance and injects a one-of-a-kind vibrancy into our culture. If you are driven to solve exhilarating challenges and have a bias toward action in the face of change, you will be empowered to make a real impact here, with a sharp and passionate team at your back. If Braze sounds like a place where you can thrive, we can't wait to meet you. About the Role Braze is making AI the default way of working across the company. Our Applied AI Architects are forward-deployed practitioners who combine domain judgment with hands-on build capability: they embed with business teams, treat employees as users and workflows as product surfaces, and ship working agents on shared infrastructure. The function runs in two tracks. GTM Architects are permanently embedded in the GTM organization, each owning a portion of a customer and prospect lifecycle that spans Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Support; when they address friction in one stage, they work the surrounding levers holistically, mapping how those functions connect today and how AI could connect them better. G&A Architects rotate across corporate functions like Finance, People, Legal, and Operations, driving each cohort to self-sufficiency. You will lead this team. That means defining how a new role category operates, owning the portfolio of engagements across the business, and answering for the outcomes: adoption that persists, workflows that measurably improve, and committed bets that read out in business metrics like sales ramp time, quota capacity, and competitive win rate. This is a player-coach role. You will carry enough build and field surface yourself to keep your judgment current, while your primary output is the team: who they are, where they embed, what they ship, and whether it works. You inherit the hiring manager seat for all Architect roles, a unified interview loop, and an operating model with real momentum. What the function becomes from there is yours to shape, in close partnership with our Director of Applied AI Product, the CIO and CTO organizations, and the leaders of the functions your team serves. What You'll Do Build the team. Close the open Architect reqs across both tracks (GTM and G&A), then own onboarding, development, and performance for a team of senior, highly autonomous ICs operating in a role category that barely exists in the market. Define what good looks like and what the career path is. Own the engagement portfolio. Decide where Architects embed, what they prioritize, and when they rotate or scale back. Balance permanent GTM surface ownership against rotational G&A engagements. Say no to good ideas so the team ships great ones. Answer for the bets. Own delivery and measurement of the committed GTM bets (sales ramp time, quota capacity / customer-facing time, competitive win rate) and run the promotion pipeline for G&A candidate bets. Every bet pairs a business outcome with leading indicators; you keep both honest. Run the operating discipline. Enforce the engagement lifecycle (discovery, prioritization, readout, design, build, deliver, monitor) and the cohort maturity model. Adoption is the bar: an ignored output is a bug, and your team operates what it ships until it is productized. Stay hands-on. Review agent designs, specs, and output quality at the system level. Carry a build surface of your own. Your field and build credibility is what earns the team its seat in pipeline reviews and functional staff meetings. Compound through the platform. Partner with the Director of Applied AI Product to move field-proven patterns into shared infrastructure, and to feed field reality back into platform requirements, evaluation criteria, and measurement frameworks. Be the executive interface. Negotiate embed agreements with CRO and CBO leadership and functional executives, represent the function's results and roadmap to senior leadership, and protect your team's focus when demand outstrips capacity, which it will. Write the playbook. The role category is being defined in real time across the industry. Document what works, publish it internally, and make Braze a reference point for how a scaled SaaS company runs applied AI. Who You Are A proven leader of senior technical ICs. You have built and led high-autonomy teams: forward-deployed engineering, solutions consulting or architecture, field engineering, or an applied AI/ML group. You know how to manage outcomes without hovering, and how to coach people more specialized than you. A builder with current hands. You have personally built AI agents, automations, or LLM-powered tools that changed how real work gets done, and you can evaluate someone else's system design, retrieval logic, and output quality without an interpreter. Credible in the field. You have spent real time in or alongside the commercial motion of a B2B SaaS company. You can sit in a pipeline review, an EBR, or a functional leadership meeting and have the room take you seriously. A portfolio operator. You think in terms of impact, feasibility, and sequencing across many competing demands, and you can defend your prioritization to executives who wanted a different answer. Fluent in measurement. You can design a baseline, argue a leading indicator, dollarize an efficiency gain, and tell the difference between a metric that proves a mechanism and one that flatters a narrative. A zero-to-one leader. You have stood up a function, practice, or team where no playbook existed, and you are comfortable being accountable for results while the ground is still moving. Minimum Requirements 10+ years of professional experience spanning GTM-adjacent technical work (solutions consulting/architecture, field or forward-deployed engineering, technical GTM strategy) and hands-on building 3+ years leading senior individual contributors, with evidence you developed and retained them Demonstrated, hands-on experience building AI-powered tools, agents, or workflows that transformed real work, with concrete examples you can speak to in depth Track record of standing up a new team, practice, or function and scaling it past your own personal capacity Executive-level communication and stakeholder management, including negotiating priorities with senior leaders Experience defining and defending business-impact measurement for a technical team Bonus Points You have led forward-deployed engineering or applied AI teams at a model lab, an AI-native company, or a scaled enterprise SaaS business You have shipped with modern agentic tooling (Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, custom agent frameworks, MCP-style integrations) and enterprise GTM stacks (Salesforce, Gong, Slack, Snowflake) You have run engagement- or rotation-based operating models (consulting, embedded product teams, customer zero programs) You have hired for hard-to-define roles and built interview systems that actually predicted performance Why This Role Matters The judgment of a company's best practitioners has always been its scarcest asset. The technology now exists to encode that judgment into systems that deliver it at scale, and Braze has committed the budget, the executive backing, and the operating model to do it. This job is with S&P Global, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork - the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. Please do not contact the recruiter directly. About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 14 The Team The Head of Enterprise Digital Assets & Tokenization leads S&P Global's central Digital Assets & Tokenization team, reporting to S&P DJI's Head of Business Acceleration & Special Projects, who oversees the team on behalf of S&P Global's Head of DeFi (Chief Product & Operations Officer, S&P DJI). S&P Global's position is straightforward: markets execute on trust, and S&P anchors it - on every rail. Our data, identifiers, benchmarks, indices and risk assessments are the infrastructure of trusted workflows, and they must be as authoritative onchain as they are today. This is a small, senior team with an enterprise mandate to make that happen: set direction, prioritize where the firm invests, unblock divisions, and land the external partnerships that de-risk each initiative. The team is deliberately lean. It is not a shadow product organization and not a research function. Divisions own delivery and revenue; this team sets the agenda, sponsors funding, brings partners to the table and holds the enterprise to a bias for in-production outcomes rather than pilots. Delivery capacity is drawn from divisional execution pods and from Kensho engineering. The role has two direct reports at the outset, with scope to grow as the portfolio warrants. Responsibilities and Impact Enterprise Strategy, Prioritization & Capital Allocation Own the enterprise digital assets and tokenization strategy day-to-day, translating it into a prioritized, funded and sequenced portfolio of initiatives across divisions. Run a single intake for divisional requests and enterprise-originated opportunities; apply and continuously sharpen the "Start Now" screening criteria and stage gates covering division readiness, resourcing, partner commitment and regulatory sensitivity. Co-own and sponsor business cases that secure investment at both enterprise and divisional level; make explicit recommendations on what to start, what to hold and what to stop. Maintain a defensible, evidence-based view of market direction - tokenization economics, onchain market structure, and the AI blockchain intersection - and use it to keep the firm's portfolio ahead of, not behind, client demand. Delivery & Execution with Divisions Drive priority initiatives to in-production status with paying customers, augmenting divisional teams that lack capacity, depth or delivery muscle. Appoint and hold a single accountable owner for each enterprise or divisional opportunity; empower them to execute and remove the obstacles they cannot clear themselves. Build the playbooks, trained people and repeatable processes that divisions own after handover, so central involvement is time-boxed by design. Maintain a live enterprise view of initiative milestones, decisions and dependencies; cut duplication and connect complementary work across divisions. External Partnerships & Commercial Development Build and personally hold senior relationships across the institutions that matter most in onchain capital markets - onchain-native platforms, issuers, protocols and infrastructure providers, and the banks, asset managers and market infrastructure firms moving onto these rails. Negotiate partnerships in which counterparties co-invest, commit to production use and provide the requirements that ensure fit within their workflows; avoid peripheral collaborations that consume time without producing adoption. Shape commercial constructs for onchain distribution - consumption and per-call economics, licensing terms, and pricing models suited to agent- and protocol-mediated consumption - in partnership with divisional commercial and legal teams. Represent S&P Global externally with credibility: conferences, standards bodies, working groups, industry consortia, and direct engagement with founders, investors and executives. Internal Alignment, Governance & Risk Convene and run the enterprise governance forum for digital assets, preparing the material and framing the decisions that senior sponsors need to make. Align divisions, corporate functions and enterprise leadership behind a shared set of priorities, resolving competing interests and sequencing trade-offs so that initiatives advance on mutual benefit rather than mandate. Keep Legal, Risk and Compliance sighted on everything in flight; run a lightweight, fast checkpoint before any initiative moves from exploration to pilot or commitment, protecting the firm from legal, compliance and reputational exposure. Escalate cleanly and early: surface new opportunities, emerging risks and stop decisions to the governing council with a clear recommendation. Leadership & Influence Lead a small, high-calibre team and grow it as the portfolio warrants; set a standard of ownership, pace and evidence-based argument. Work with talent and engineering leadership to build protocol and AI blockchain capability across the firm, including through Kensho. Act as a trusted advisor to divisional and enterprise leaders: direct about trade-offs, credible on the technology, and grounded in commercial reality. Operate almost entirely through influence rather than direct authority, across a global, matrixed organization. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in capital markets, asset management, financial data and infrastructure, or digital assets, including senior roles with enterprise-wide or firm-building scope. Demonstrated hands-on experience in digital assets: tokenized products, digital asset funds or indices, onchain infrastructure, or the operational and control build-out required to bring them to market. Operator experience is valued well above observer experience. Proven track record of standing up new businesses, products or functions from zero to production, including vendor, counterparty and partner selection, launch, and the operating processes that sustain them. An established external network across onchain-native firms and traditional financial institutions, and the credibility to open and hold senior relationships from a standing start. Commercial judgment: experience building business cases, structuring partnerships and commercial terms, and making disciplined calls on where to invest and where to walk away. Demonstrated success aligning competing priorities and stakeholder interests across independent business units, and delivering through influence rather than direct authority. Executive-level communication: able to brief senior leadership and external principals with equal clarity, and to challenge as well as partner. Comfort operating within regulatory, legal and compliance constraints, and partnering with control functions to move quickly without creating exposure. Preferred Qualifications Experience launching regulated, index-linked or benchmark-linked products, or working with ratings, reference data, identifiers or index production. Sufficient technical fluency in blockchain architecture, smart contracts and onchain data to engage engineering teams and partners substantively; a hands-on engineering background is not required. Experience building and scaling small teams, and handing capability over to larger organizations. Exposure to board, investment committee or council-level governance. Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $185,000 to $265,000 . Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. As a Forward-Deployed Engineer, You Will Find the Problem Worth Solving Work directly with customers to navigate ambiguity, uncover high-value opportunities, challenge assumptions, and translate complex business needs into clear technical direction. This requires curiosity and business acumen as you discover business workflows and jointly define the outcomes an AI solution should drive. Build Beyond the Frontier Architect and build production AI systems, from multi-agent workflows, orchestration, tool use, context engineering, memory and state, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to the APIs, data pipelines, integrations, and distributed systems that make them reliable at scale. Own the Outcome You won't simply be given a list of responsibilities-you'll have the authority to own the outcome for your client and make a real-world impact through your work. You'll lead solutions from discovery through deployment and measurable impact while staying hands-on and owning evaluation, observability, security, reliability, latency, scalability, and cost. The Anti-Sell High ownership and intensity: This role requires exceptional ownership and accountability. You'll work with clients who have uncompromising expectations for quality, making this a demanding environment-and an ideal proving ground for people who seek difficult, high-impact challenges. Client-first and in-office: Our work is client-first, which means in-person collaboration may be required either at the client site. Depending on your assignment and client needs, you should expect to work in person three to five days per week and be based in the Los Angeles area or within a reasonable commuting distance. You'll help write the playbook: Enterprise AI operates like a startup. You may not always have an established process or playbook because you'll be expected to apply your expertise, judgment, and technical depth to create one. Our Forward-Deployed Engineers Typically Have Deep production engineering experience: Typically 8+ years building and operating sophisticated software systems, with expertise in Python, backend systems, APIs, databases, distributed systems, system design, and cloud infrastructure. Hands-on agentic AI experience: Experience building production LLM and agent systems using orchestration, tool use, context engineering, memory and state, retrieval, and multistep workflows. End-to-end systems ownership: A track record of taking complex systems from architecture through deployment and scale, with a practical understanding of evaluation, observability, reliability, security, guardrails, latency, scalability, and cost. Exceptional customer and technical leadership: The ability to enter unfamiliar environments, earn trust quickly, navigate ambiguity, challenge assumptions constructively, and communicate effectively with senior engineers and business executives. Client-ready communication: The ability to explain technical concepts clearly, navigate ambiguity, work with stakeholders, and remain calm under pressure. Don't Meet Every Qualification Yet?
