Familiarity with hardware/software traceability, manufacturing data, RMA systems, and fleet-level quality metrics. Experience mentoring engineers or leading cross-functional technical projects without direct authority. Familiarity with automated test frameworks, CI pipelines, data visualization, or statistical failure analysis. How Success Is Measured Staff-level ownership of ambiguous, multi-component investigations from problem definition through verified corrective-action closure. Predictable delivery of 2-6 month diagnostic and process-improvement work, with risks, dependencies, deadlines, and documentation actively managed. Reduced failure-analysis cycle time, no-fault-found rate, recurring failures, and escapes, using baseline-to-target metrics. Production-quality automation and diagnostic methods adopted across the team, with increased coverage, reuse, and maintainability. Cross-functional HW/FW/SW/Manufacturing alignment on priorities, decisions, and corrective actions, with verified follow-through and monitoring.
