What We're Looking For - 2-5+ years of low-voltage installation experience (structured cabling plus at least one of: access control, CCTV, intrusion, or fire alarm integration). - Expert skills installing copper (Cat5e/Cat6), coax, and fiber; racks/cabinets; patch panels; and cable management. - Proven advanced troubleshooting ability for cabling and connectivity issues. - Experience with basic/intermediate programming on common low-voltage/security platforms. - Familiarity with BICSI best practices, TIA/EIA standards, and local/national low-voltage codes. - Able to lead small crews, communicate clearly with customers and teammates, and keep work organized and on schedule. - Comfortable with frequent standing, bending, ladder/lift work, lifting 40-50 lbs, and working on active construction sites; willing to work overtime/nights/weekends as needed. - Willing and able to travel occasionally to customer sites outside the immediate Clarksville area based on project and client needs. - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to our company's office. - BICSI Installer I/II and manufacturer certifications (S2, Fire-Lite, Potter, Paxton, Milestone, etc.) are a plus. The ideal candidate would have a strong industry knowledge of best practices and have high installation standards. They would have a strong understanding of system functions. and diagnose problems associated with home automation systems including Audio/Video, Networks, Security, Shades, Lighting and CCTV.
