Cox Automotive seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and optimize highly available cloud-native platforms supporting our automotive and media solutions. You'll architect scalable services, automate infrastructure, and improve reliability for products like Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book. Partner with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD, observability, and security best practices. Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure cloud-native platform architectures.
- Build and maintain Kubernetes-based environments and containerized services.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code for repeatable, automated provisioning.
- Implement and refine CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed and quality.
- Own observability, including logging, metrics, and alerting for platform services.
- Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams on platform standards.
- Optimize performance, reliability, and cloud cost across environments.
- Ensure platform security, compliance, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production incidents and root causes.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to platform engineering best practices.
