Position: Sr. Salesforce Platform Developer (Ref: 18593) Location: Nashville, TN USA, 37243 Salary: DOE Duration: 10 Months 19 Days - Contract Openings: 1 Deadline: 08/16/2026 Description: Local Candidates Hybrid We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Platform Developer to serve as a key technical resource and trusted advisor across multiple enterprise Salesforce implementations. In this role, you will provide expert guidance on coding standards, scalable solution design, and development best practices to cross-functional development teams. You will support a multi-org environment (11 statewide/enterprise orgs) leveraging Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and Sales Cloud, each with unique business processes and implementation complexity. The ideal candidate will ensure custom development aligns with enterprise architecture governance, security standards, and long-term sustainability while collaborating closely with agency development teams, external vendor partners, and internal org owners. Key Responsibilities Technical Guidance & Oversight: Provide expert-level oversight for development teams. Review and advice on Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integration patterns to ensure code quality and system scalability. Architecture & Design: Translate complex business requirements into secure, high-performing, and maintainable technical solutions. Ensure custom development adheres to coding standards, enterprise governance, and platform security requirements. Multi-Org Support: Support development efforts across multiple Salesforce orgs with varying architectures and solution components. Technical Escalation & Debugging: Act as the technical escalation point for debugging, performance optimization, system integration troubleshooting, and complex enhancements. Quality Assurance: Evaluate vendor development deliverables for quality, technical accuracy, and long-term sustainability. Documentation & Best Practices: Document technical designs, solution recommendations, and development patterns. Stay informed on new Salesforce capabilities, release updates, and industry best practices. Lifecycle Management: Participate in release planning, code reviews, automated testing coordination, and CI/CD deployment activities. Key Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional hands-on Salesforce development experience. Certification: Salesforce Platform Developer II certification is required (or must be obtained within an agreed timeframe). Domain Knowledge: Experience with public sector environments or multi-org Salesforce architectures is strongly preferred. Location: Must be local to Tennessee (Hybrid setup). Screening: Must be able to pass standard background checks and fingerprinting verification.
