Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting Troubleshoot Oracle database and storage-layer dependencies, including ASM disk groups, ASM disks, database datafiles, file systems, LUNs, multipathing, and NetApp-backed storage, addressing I/O failures, inaccessible disks, storage path issues, capacity constraints, and storage-related impacts to database and RMAN backup and recovery operations. Analyze and resolve database and application performance issues. Utilize Oracle performance tools, including AWR, ADDM, and SQL tuning utilities. Leverage operating system diagnostic tools, including iostat, vmstat, sar, truss, and top, to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Implement proactive monitoring and tuning strategies to maximize system availability and responsiveness. Troubleshoot application-to-database connectivity and integration issues across containerized applications, Oracle WebLogic, virtual machines, Linux/Solaris operating systems, and Oracle database environments. Automation and Scripting Develop and maintain automation solutions using Bash, Korn Shell (KSH), Python, Perl, and similar scripting languages. Automate routine administrative tasks, monitoring, health checks, backups, and reporting.
